Dear Parent,

Thank you for your interest in our school. Often, choosing the best school for you child requires them to go beyond your immediate area. We hope that your search for quality private education brings you to the Hebrew Academy.

Here you will find academic excellence in a structured, supportive, and caring setting. We invite you to experience for yourself the Hebrew Academy difference.

The best educational experience awaits your child at The Hebrew Academy, and on behalf of the students, administration, and teachers, welcome to our school family

Dedicated to Excellence,

Sulha Dubrowski
Director

Admissions Process

1. Application Forms

Parents are to complete and submit a "Student Application Form" for each child. A non-refundable application fee of $50 must accompany this application.

Before your child enters school, we will need a signed Certificate of Immunization Status and the Family/Medical Information sheet.

2. School Visit

All families are invited to tour the school and talk informally with the admissions staff. Our Director will give you a tour of our facility and get to know your individual interests and expectations.

3. Testing

Preschool applicants will participate in a play date with other preschool children. Screenings last approximately 20 minutes. Testing is mandatory for all students entering nursery.

4. Review

This phase occurs after all parts of the application have been received and the student and family visits are completed. Families are kept up to date on the status of each application, especially if teacher recommendations or school records have not been received. For each applicant, the Director meets with the faculty members who observed the student. The completed application is then discussed with the Admissions Committee.

5. Notification

The last phase of the application process is notification and, if the student is accepted, issuance of an Enrollment Contract. The Enrollment Contract must be signed and returned within ten days with a non-refundable tuition deposit. The signed contract and deposit secure the applicant’s place at the Preschool. The deposit is credited against the second tuition installment. Please note that no application is considered until all parts of the application are received.

If you need assistance in completing the application, or for any other information, please call the office.

It is the policy of Hebrew Academy not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, age, sex, disability, sexual orientation, or national and ethnic origin in its educational programs, admissions policies, employment and general policies. Admission to the school is based upon each student’s academic records, personal interviews, observations by our faculty, parent essay questions, teacher recommendations and our admissions testing.
